If you thought Children’s Day is meant for celebration in schools solely, you could not have been more wrong. Bollywood celebrities are making a fan fare of it too on social media with #ChildrensDay. They all took to Twitter and Instagram to share their love and concern for children around the world. Some shared images of their own children while others made it a day to become children themselves.Bollywood’s leading actress Priyanka Chopra shared a UNICEF initiative where 70 children took over National Stock Exchange to talk to businessmen about children’s rights. She is currently the brand ambassador of the organization.
Veteran Indian cricketer, Harbajan Singh used this day to show the child in him as he was seen cycling on the road. A miniscule effort to satisfy the child in him.
Sandhya is among a group of 70 children taking over @NSEIndia (National Stock Exchange India) today to talk to business leaders about their rights and the need for investing in children. Happy #ChildrensDay indeed! @unicefindia pic.twitter.com/rsXaRb1bbf

Other proud parents of Bollywood used November 14 to show how blessed they felt being parents. Some like Farah Khan and Adnan Sami used the day to flaunt cute pictures of their children on Twitter. We have zero complains against such show of cuteness.

For a day which is dedicated to celebrate Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday, while some celebrities made it a day of cuteness others tried bringing out children’s issue to the limelight.
