Red carpet rolled out for pooches at Irish screening of Wes Anderson's Isle of Dogs
Pet parents want to take their fur balls to every fun activity. Spend time together, share laughs and tail wags together. But social restrictions followed by strict public space rules often forces pet parents to leave their pooches at home. Now there seems to be a new option for pet mums and dads at least when there is a dog movie on screen. If you were in Dublin this weekend with your pooch then you may have got lucky. The city hosted a dog-friendly screening where viewers got to enjoy the film with their pooches.

Our Dog-Friendly Screening was a success!! Big a-paws to everyone!
"Guess where I went yesterday?! To the cinema for the Irish premiere of Isle of Dogs. It was amazing. I got my own seat and snacks. There were loads of dogs there and we got to strut our stuff on the red carpet. Here I am with my new friend Buttercup! (@cavsavvy ). She is so pretty. Swipe right to see a few more pics. Let me know if you think there should be more dog-friendly movie screenings." - Noodle the Poodle Huge thanks to @thedoggiedo for organising and inviting us along, to @lighthousecinema and @20thcenturyfoxirl for hosting and for @cavsavvy 's Pawrents for the pawesome photo!
The special screening occurred for American director Wes Anderson's new animated movie - Isle Of Dogs. The film will release on March 30 but the pre-screening saw pooches line up for the tickets in leash. They were seen huddled on seats in the theatre making pawdorable moments on social media. The dogs got to enjoy the film with their favourite humans by their side. Finally, no longer door scratches or whining till their owner comes back from the movies.

This step comes after Netflix followed a similar publicity stunt for its latest canine film Benji. A green grassy carpet was laid down for the screening with famous dogs from Instagram walking down the carpet. They posed with their owners like any film screening. With a few woofs, licks and tail wags, they headed down to the screening area where large cozy mattresses with fluffy pillows were laid down so that dogs and owners could have a fun time watching the film together.
