Cameron Boyce's uncle has issued a heartbreaking tribute following the sudden death of the Disney star. The 20-year-old died in his sleep due to a seizure from an 'ongoing medical condition,' his family said in a statement. Cameron starred as Cruella de Vil's son in Disney's surprise hit movie Descendants and was best known for his role alongside Adam Sandler in Grown Ups.
His uncle, London Boyce, paid tribute in a touching Instagram post, writing: "My heart is broken. I've lost my beloved nephew. Words cannot express how sad I am right now but Cameron left an indelible mark on all who were blessed to share any moment with him. He was a constant beacon of light a pure joy and a beautiful soul. He lived a short life but it was awesome and exciting and fulfilled. We will miss you with all our hearts Cameron but you will never ever be forgotten."

It comes amid the news that Cameron's body is with the LA County Medical Examiner and an autopsy has been scheduled. An investigator has also been assigned to his case to determine how he died.
Cameron's family confirmed the sad news earlier today with a spokesperson telling ABC: "It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron. He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated.
The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him."We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother," added his parents Libby and Victor Boyce and his actor sister Maya.
Cameron became a huge star when he joined the Disney Channel family. He played Luke Ross in show Jessie, and also appeared in Austin & Ally, Shake It Up, Good Luck Charlie and Liv and Maddie on the channel.
Cameron went on to play Carlos, the son of villain Cruella de Vil, in Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants and its sequel. He was one of the four main characters the series of films followed. A third movie, Descendants 3, is due to be released next month.Read More
