Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first female outing Captain Marvel, made it to the big screens on March 8, 2019. The movie has opened to some of the most phenomenal reviews because of its great performances, fantastic action and one of the best stories of MCU. However, that’s not the only reason for all Marvel fans to rejoice. Captain Marvel has post-credits and mid-credits and one of it is directly connected to the much awaited Avengers: Endgame. However, with every exciting news, comes a spoiler… so, don’t complain that we didn’t warn you.
In the mid-credit scene, Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), James Rhodes (Don Cheadle), and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) are watching the worldwide death toll rapidly increasing, as they try to analyse the consequences of their battle with Thanos. All of them have retrieved Nick Fury’s pager and are aware that his final act was activating it, so they observe to check that what will happen. However, when Rhodey informs that it has ‘stopped doing whatever the hell it was doing,’ they try to reactivate the pager, unaware of the fact that what it actually does. Later, it turns out that it has stopped sending signal because Captain Marvel has arrived, BOOM! As soon as she appears, she looks at them and asks, “Where’s Fury?”
So, does this hint at the fact that Carol aka Captain Marvel will be involved in the Avengers: Endgame, to help the squad in finishing Thanos? We shall come to know on April 26, 2019!
