Fans can be rest assured as there will be plenty of dinosaurs in the next Jurassic World flick titled, ‘Fallen Kingdom’. The film is slated to hit the theaters on June 22 next year, while its second teaser dropped on 3rd December.
From the 15 second clip we learnt a couple of things: Chris Pratt can run; and there are plenty of explosions in this film. The clip shows Pratt running down a hillside screaming for Bryce Howard and actor Justice Smith to 'run' as he is chased by a group of dinosaurs, some flying debris and flames from an explosion.
The group takes shelter behind a Gyrosphere as the clip reveals they may be in danger of being swallowed by the explosions and fire.
The clip was shared by the film’s lead actor, Chris Pratt on Instagram from the ‘Seahawks game’ on 4th December. “I’m at the Seahawks game! Living my dream. Feeling very blessed. Thanks to Universal, for this trip which is tied in to teasing the trailer for #JurassicWorld,” he wrote as the caption.
The full trailer for the sequel will be out on Thursday. Jurassic World was made on a budget of $150 million and made $1.672 billion at the box office. The film, directed by Colin Trevorrow, was the fourth part in the Jurassic franchise, kicked off by Steven Spielberg in 1993.
Back in November another clip from the film was released in which Pratt was seen playing with a baby dinosaur.
