Who needs a boring human tagged along to awards show when you can have a furry friend entertaining you at the gala? Well, we are not at all kidding as you can ask Glenn Close. Surprising one and all, The Fatal Attraction star made quite an unusual entry at the 2019 Independent Spirit Awards with her four-legged companion, Pip Close. Yes, you read that right. She got her dog to the awards night. While Close looked flashy in a purple Sies Marjan suit, which she further paired with Jimmy Choo heels, but it was her plus-one who literally snatched the spotlight from her.
Making way on the blue carpet with her adorable pooch, the 71-year-actress took home the Best Actress trophy for her performance in The Wife on Saturday. FYI, Pip's full name is Sir Pippin of Beanfield and when the actress took her companion on the stage to collect the trophy, she was seen telling everyone that “He’s my date." Aww! Also, we noticed that Glenn’s doggie was so very well-behaved at the awards show. Right from posing alongside his momma to even accompanying her onstage as she accepted her award, Pip was well-mannered and how. Quite a gentleman ha!
