For all Guardians of the Galaxy fans here’s another twist to the already twisted tale. As of now, actor Dave Bautista who plays Drax in the series has cast doubt on whether he will be part of the latest installment of franchise, the production of which is currently on-hold.
Well this is not the first time Bautista has spoken. As he had previously threatened to quit the film if Gunn's original script was not used. But in an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show over the weekend, he has expressed doubt or we better term it as a distaste about working for Disney in the future. Yep, you heard that right!
Here’s the bomb statement. “It’s a bitter-sweet conversation — um, no it’s a bitter-bitter conversation because I’m not really happy with what they’ve done with James Gunn," he said. "They’re putting the movie off. It’s on hold indefinitely. To be honest with you I don’t know if I want to work for Disney.”
Gunn has still not commented publicly on the fallout, while Disney have yet to name the person who will take over directorial duties on the film. Till then you can have a look at the video above which serves as a proof that Dave did utter those words.
Stay tuned for more updates on the same.
