Kim Kardashian sued for $100 million by Kimojo app developer, keep up with the deet here!
The reality TV star turned beauty mogul, Kim Kardashian has fallen into a legal mess. We all know how Kim and controversies are BFF and this time it's no different. A developer has dragged Kim Kardashian West to court over her supremely famous Kimoji app. As per Liebensohn, (the developer of the app) he was the one who helped Kim build the app, only to be chopped out of the profits. As a violation of the contract, Liebensohn has sued Kim for $100 million for committing fraud.
As per a report in TMZ, the developer was behind an app called CensorOut which helped him garner attention from Kardashian’s team. Further, the report states that Liebensohn teamed up with Kim to promote his app CensorOut, it was when she agreed to work on a new app with him and his partners. Now, the developer has claimed that he has designed Kim's Kimoji app and based on the agreement between the two, he and his partners were entitled to 60 percent of profits. However in 2014, after Kim filed the trademark for the Kimoji app, she contacted the developer to step back from the deal stating that one of his many partners had shared her personal information.

Kim's lawyer, Marty Singer in a new statement to TMZ said, "The lawsuit filed against Kim Kardashian is ridiculous and absurd. The parties entered into a binding settlement agreement 2014 in which Kim gave up multi-million dollar claims against Mr. Liebensohn and his partners. Mr. Liebensohn waited more than 4 years to claim the agreement wasn't binding on him. Kim commenced arbitration in December 2018, and after Mr. Liebensohn was unsuccessful in stopping the arbitration he filed this meritless lawsuit. We feel very confident we will get the case dismissed."
We await more updates.
