The Duchess of Sussex and soon-to-be mother Meghan Markle is using vegan paint laced with eucalyptus and rosemary oils, to paint the room of her unborn child, as per a report on The Sun. These essentials can apparently enhance memory and also boost the immune system. This comes after reports said that Meghan and Prince Harry were looking for gender-neutral décor for their child’s nursery in Frogmore Cottage.
The Sun also reported that Meghan will install childproof windows and an eco-boiler worth $91,000. The new gadgets will be a part of the $5.45 million worth renovations to the couple’s property. Speaking to the publication, a source said: ‘Rather than opt for fashionable Farrow and Ball paint in favoured shades such as Wevet, Peignoir and Pavilion Grey and Salmon, the Sussexes are much in favour of The Organic & Natural Paint Co’s Auro range for the nursery.’
Most paint is not vegan as they often include milk protein as a binder and the concoction is often tested on animals before being labelled as safe to use for humans. Meghan’s choice of paint is said to be odour free and also non-toxic. The eco-boiler is meant to ensure that the couple and their little one always get hot water. Safety covers are also being attached to the electric sockets in the house. There’s no word from Kensington Palace on these developments.
