In a shocking revelation, Michael Jackson’s controversial doctor Conrad Murray claimed that the late pop star was ‘chemically castrated’ by his father Joe Jackson. Murray had spent two years in prison following Michael’s death for involuntary manslaughter. In a taped statement to The Blast, he said that Joe castrated his son to maintain his high-pitched voice.
Speaking to The Blast, Murray spoke about Joe Jackson, who passed away in June. “Joe Jackson was one of the worst fathers to his children in history. The cruelty, expressed by Michael, that he experienced at the hand of his father, particularly the bad treatment, and moreover the fact that he was chemically castrated to maintain his high-pitched voice, is beyond words," said Murray to the website.
Murray had made similar allegations in 2016, when he claimed that Joe used to give Michael hormone injections to prevent his voice from getting deeper.
Joe Jackson was the father of 10 children. Besides Michael, his other children include Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Jackie, Rebbie, Randy, La Toya and Janet. He became father to another son in 1957, but the child died in 24 hours.
The idea that Michael was ‘castrated’ has circulated for a long time. It was noted in a book titled Michael Jackson: The Secret of a Voice, written by Alain Branchereau, a French surgeon.
