‘I kissed a girl and I liked it!’ is a Katy Perry track but it seems Miley Cyrus has been humming it along when she was a kid. The Hannah Montana star opened up to a podcast titled What’s the Tee? and revealed that her first snog was with a girl. Miley was very candid about her sexuality and spoke about her desire to support the LGBTQ+ community. She said that she was one of the only kids on Disney who would ‘come out and say that I supported all my gay friends.’
“When I was growing up, being from the South, my first kiss was with a girl in middle school and no one could understand in Nashville saying that to my parents,” she told RuPaul’s Drag Race stars. When asked about Hannah Montana – the show which brought her to the limelight – Cyrus said that Miley Stewart’s alter-ego was a ‘total drag queen.’ However, she also added that she’s developed an affinity to the show now. "I loved the show because I realized all these kids, especially on Instagram now, there are these young boys and girls, 10 years old, doing drag, and I'm like, wonder where they got that idea!" she said.

Cyrus then went on to add that she looks at herself as someone who’s pansexual – basically, she falls in love with people and not worry about their gender. “People fall in love with people, not gender, not looks,” Miley explained, adding: “What I’m in love with exists on almost a spiritual level. It has nothing to do with sexuality.”
