Nick Jonas confirms returning as Alex in the Jumanji sequel
Jumanji fans, rejoice! American singer and actor Nick Jonas has officially confirmed that he is returning for the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle sequel. The Find You singer took to his social media and announced the same. In his post, Nick Jonas shared his gif that said, “Let’s go, people.” Nick seemed to be as pumped up as his fans. In his caption, he mentioned that he is extremely excited to bring Alex back on the big screen. In Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Nick played the character of Jefferson ‘Seaplane’ McDonough aka Alex Vreeke, who was the fifth player to be discovered in the game.
Alex was a young aircraft who had been stranded in the Jumanji jungle for around two decades and he was discovered by the rest of the players. Apart from Nick, the Jumanji sequel has also roped in its original cast. It includes the likes of Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, Karen Gillan and Awkwafina, too, is in talks for an important role. The sequel will also mark the comeback of the four teens that starred in the very first part- Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Morgan Turner and Alex Wolff. The premise of this sequel hasn’t been revealed as of now.

Jumanji’s sequel will be helmed by Jake Kasdan and the film will make it to the big screens on December 13, 2019.
