Former One Direction singer, Liam Payne, has taken up the charge to fight the menace of knife robbery. This comes after two fatal knife crimes were reported in England. Liam took to his Twitter handle and shared that this situation needs to be brought under control. Along with it, he drove down memory lane and described how he was robbed at knifepoint at the age of twelve. In his tweet, Liam shared that he and his friend were robbed in Bilston, but thankfully, they managed to escape. "Me and my friend walked away with our lives, not everyone is so lucky," he wrote.
Earlier, Liam was wrongly tagged in a Twitter post that spoke about kids carrying knives in their pockets and how dangerous it is. On this, the singer was quick to show his support to fight against the crime. In both his Twitter posts, Liam offered his help to the police to tackle the situation. "Find your power in other things that make you become more and greater than you ever thought you could be," is what he advised the kids carrying knives via tweet.
As soon as Liam shared his story, his fans went crazy showering their love and stating that 'we are glad you are safe'.
