Ryan Reynolds calls for an ‘official truce’ with Hugh Jackman
The Twitter feud between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is the stuff of legends. The amusing social media banter attracts a lot of attention from their respective followers. A common point of contention among the two actors is that the Deadpool star wants Jackman on the screen as Wolverine, again. Reynolds and Jackman worked together on X-Men Origins: Wolverine, a film that failed at the box office. However, the two actors have shared a mutual friendship – so close that they regularly troll each other.
But recently, Reynolds put a hold to their online assaults, calling for a ceasefire. In a tweet, Reynolds shared a picture of himself with his bro, Jackman, and claimed there was an ‘official truce.’ There’s no word on how long that’ll last, though we’re inclined to believe that it’ll only be till the time Reynolds completes shooting an ad for Jackman’s company, Laughing Man Coffee. That said, we can’t wait for the funny hostilities to resume.
A lot of Marvel fans hope for a Wolverine-Deadpool combo on-screen, especially since Reynold’s solo film on the Mercenary with a Mouth became a hit among moviegoers. There is no word on whether or not such a thing can happen, but there’s no harm in hoping, right?
