The Marvel vs DC debate is the stuff of legends with fans from both sides fighting over who’s got the better set of characters. There are also many who are divided over which camp produces better movies. With Marvel gearing up for the release of Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame, a new topic of discussion has emerged online. The Atlantic staff writer Jemele Hill asked a simple question on Twitter which sparked off an intense debate. Thanos or Bane?
Both Thanos and Bane are powerful villains. While Thanos is from the Marvel camp, Bane is the notorious criminal from DC. Thanos is shown in the comics and the movies to have snapped his fingers with the Infinity Gauntlet and destroyed half the universe. Bane is recognised as one of those few people who managed to break the Batman. Twitter users have jumped in on the debate and are furiously fighting for their favourite supervillain.
Both Bane and Thanos are badasses and since most people live in a democracy, they have their opinions on the matter. Several people weighed in on the debate. The film is set in the 1990s and is touted to be the origin story of Carol Danvers. Besides Larson, Captain Marvel stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, and Jude Law in lead roles.
According to various reports, Captain Marvel stays true to other Marvel films which have a mid-credit and an end-credit scene. Apparently, the mid-credit scene in Captain Marvel is the most important one in the history of all Marvel releases.
