The internet is losing its head over the latest trailer for the Avengers, released last week. For the last five days, the trailer for Avenger: Infinity War has been trending with over 34 million views. This is the third film from the Avengers series and the 19th from the Marvel Comics ecosystem. The film will showcase Marvel superheroes played by an ensemble cast, who will go against a common enemy, Thanos.
Since its first trailer back in November, there’s been a number of mashup videos, parodies and compilations on social media channels. In the midst of this, the internet’s latest fascination is a parody of the first trailer of the film.
Produced by a bunch of Malaysian students, the video is shot on a very low budget and uses household items as props. There’s a guy using dinner plates as Dr Strange’s chakras, breakfast cereals to signify the battle of Wakanda, a notebook to show a bridge and several other stuff.
The creators posted their video on Twitter and it already received as many as 3 million views. What’s more, the Russo brothers, creators of the original trailer, noted the parody and even invited them to direct the fifth Avengers film.
