One can never get over the mortifying 26/11 attacks, speaking of which only leaves us with goosebumps. To give us a closer glimpse of the ill-fated night, the teaser of Anupam Kher and Dev Patel's Hotel Mumbai was recently unveiled. We must say, the intriguing teaser certainly makes everything look highly realistic. The film was premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, following which, the teaser was released on social media.
As we are aware, the film focuses on the devastating Mumbai terror attacks that took place at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai on November 26, 2008. It sees Dev Patel essay a simple Sikh man who works as a staff member at the hotel. Anupam Kher is shown playing a chef in the same hotel. The teaser gives us an idea of what the Dev and Anupam's characters went through when the terrorists opened fire at the hotel. The film also features Armie Hammer, who is playing a guest staying at the opulent hotel.
The 26/11 attacks were carried out by the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists. The attacks claimed 174 lives and left countless other traumatised and injured. The film aims to give a gist of the ominous day and brings those fighters under the light, who took charge of the guests and protected them with their lives.
The film is slated to be out in 2019.
