We had already told you earlier that Keerthy Suresh is all set make her big debut in Bollywood with director Amit Sharma's yet-untitled project. She will be seen in the movie alongside Ajay Devgn. Director Amit Sharma is known for his latest and extremely successful venture Badhaai Ho. The film earned a lot of accords so no doubt his fans are eagerly awaiting his next. Now the latest update is that the film is going to be a sports biopic based on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim.
Talking to an entertainment daily Keerthy said, “Syed Abdul Rahim's story is a forgotten chapter in Indian history and I am glad that the makers are telling it through a film.” The film is being produced by none other than Boney Kapoor along with Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta. While talking to the daily Boney Kapoor mentioned that the film will not be a bilingual. Instead, it will be a Hindi feature film. He also added, “It’s also a conservative love story which focuses on the couple’s life after marriage. Keerthy is one of the most successful actresses in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam cinema. Her presence would give us an enhanced reach in the Southern belt.”
There have also been rumours going around that Nagesh Kukunoor has offered Keerthy a role in his next which is being touted to be a trilingual in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The actress is currently busy shooting for Priyadarshan's 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham' with Mohanlal.
