Tamil actor Rana Daggubati is now a part of the much awaited Hollywood film Avengers: Infinity War. Rana has lent his voice to the character of Thanos – the bad guy – for the Telugu release of the film. Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War will feature an ensemble of superheroes and will release all over the world on April 27. In a bid to expand its localization plans, Disney India signed up Rana.
In a statement, Rana had said, "Characters such as Iron Man and Captain America have been my favourites. So dubbing for 'Avengers: Infinity War' was thrilling. Voicing for Thanos, a villain so powerful that some of the biggest superheroes have a tough time dealing with, was an exciting experience.”
The actor has already finished dubbing for the film. Bikram Duggal, Executive Director and Head, Studio Entertainment, Disney India said that the company hopes to reach out to a wide base of audience and at the same time retain the same magnitude that stays true to the Marvel brand.
Avengers: Infinity War is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Kevin Feige.
