Luka Chuppi is finally up for release. The film, which will release this weekend, will see the nation’s current heartthrob Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon share screen space for the first time. The first look of the film enjoyed a good response from the audience and people are loving the chemistry between Kartik and Kriti. The film recently came under the Central Board of Film Certification’s scanner over few scenes but after a few cuts, it is all set for a March 1 release.
Reportedly, the censor board has passed the film with four cuts, including three audio cuts and one visual change. The board has also demanded that the makers mute the cuss words in the movie. The CBFC has also muted the words "k*anjar" and "har**mi" and asked the makers to replace the word "chu**a" with "kutta". The visual change asked by the makers involves a zoom-in a scene wherein there's a hand gesture along with dialogue "Mujhe bhi chahiye." Apart from these four changes, the CBFC has asked the makers to add an additional disclaimer in Hindi. Post the cuts and changes, Luka Chuppi’s run time will be 126 minutes and 9 seconds.
