Actor Luke Perry who rose to fame with television series Beverly Hills and 90210 in the 1990s died at the age of 52 on Monday. He was currently featuring in Riverdale. The actor suffered a massive stroke and was admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles. The Ohio born actor was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, his fiancee and ex-wife, his parents, siblings and other close family members and friends as he breathed his last. The Riverdale actor’s untimely death has prompted an emotional outpour of tributes from his co-stars and fans on social media.
Actor Molly Ringwald who played perry’s ex-wife in Riverdale said that she was devastated by the actor’s death while his 90210 co-star, Ian Ziering, said that he will cherish the loving memories they made together over the last thirty years.
Actor Christine Elise McCarthy, who played Emily Valentine in Beverly Hills, 90210, remembered her late costar with a photo from their days on set.

The creator of Riverdale, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, said that Luke was like a father, brother, friend and mentor to him.
Charlie Sheen also took to Twitter to mourn Luke Perry's death.
