One of the most awaited films of the year 2019 is Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The actor was last seen on the silver screen in 2017 in director Hansal Mehta’s Simran which tanked at the box office. After a gap of almost two years, she is back with the film but when it comes to Kangana, nothing goes easy and there’s always controversy involved. She had a fallout with her co-star Sonu Sood and director Krish and we know why.
According to sources, the film is made on a huge budget and took more than the expected time to get completed. When it was finally ready for the post-production to begin, the film’s leading lady first had a fallout with director Krish, followed by Sonu Sood who had a pivotal role in the biopic. If sources are to be believed, the actor saw Krish spending a lot of time working on Sonu’s bare chest scenes which didn’t go well with her. She snapped the director saying that ‘Its a Rani Laxmi biopic and not Sonu Sood biopic’. Later things escalated between the two and gradually Krish walked out of the film followed by Sonu Sood.

Though Krish and Sonu never really revealed the actual reason for them walking out of the film, their sudden decision got tongues wagging. While Krish said that he had date issues, Sonu maintained that he walked out of the film because of creative differences with the makers.
Now all hopes are pinned up on Kangana’s shoulders as she is not only the leading lady of the film, she has also shot major portions of the film post Krish’s walkout. It will be interesting to see how the film fares at the box-office which will release on January 25, 2019.
