Tollywood’s Power Star Pawan Kalyan has announced the first look and title of his upcoming film today at the holy city of Varanasi. The romantic action flick titled ‘Agnathavasi - Prince in Exile’ is going to be directed by his longtime friend and blockbuster filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas. The film which was initially titled 'PSPK25' is due for release on January 10 next year. The grand release will be preceded by promotional events and music launch, scheduled to take place on December 15.
Produced by S Radha Krishna, Agnathavasi - Prince in Exile has been shot extensively in various parts of India, including Varanasi. The film also has overseas location schedules which included various parts of Europe. Power Star's 25th film is also his third collaboration with Trivikram. Earlier they have delivered blockbusters like Jalsa and Attarintiki Daredi.
Reportedly, Pawan will be seen in an angry young man avatar in the film. His character, named Abhijit Bhargav, is a software engineer. Keerthi Suresh and Anu Emanuel have been cast opposite him as the female leads. Boman Irani, who earlier worked in Attarintiki Daredi, will play the antagonist in the film.
According to sources, the pace of shooting has increased given that the team is looking to wrap up the schedule as soon as possible. The makers are keen to release the film in the second week of January. The crew is currently busy with the dubbing. Actress Keerthy Suresh who is dubbing for the first time in Telugu took to Twitter to express her joy.
The movie will also be the debut Telugu project for the young and talented music director Anirudh Ravichander. 'Baitikochi Chuste', the first song from the film has already garnered one million views within an hour on YouTube.
