A wedding celebration is in order as Prince Harry is all set to marry his American actor girlfriend Meghan Markle in spring next year. In a statement, the Clarence House announced “His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms Meghan Markle.”
The ceremony is likely to be conducted by the archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, who said he was delighted by the news and had been impressed by Harry’s “immense love for his family”. Harry’s brother and sister-in-law, Prince William and Kate, said: “We are very excited for Harry and Meghan. It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together.”
According to the Clarence House, the couple got engaged in London this month. They were expected to show off the engagement ring at a photo call at a later date. Reports suggest that a wedding date and a venue is likely to be decided, with March being the most likely month – as that would leave enough time to ensure Kate is not about to give birth to her third child.
As the news of the wedding takes social media by storm, the relationship between the two will soon be tested. Earlier the media went in to a frenzy when the couple announced their relationship with the Sun running still images of Markle in the television drama Suits appearing on Pornhub, an adult website, titling it “Harry girl’s on Pornhub” even though the clips of intimate scenes were from the programme Suits, and not pornography. Several other news articles went on to make racist comments.
According to BBC, the instant Prince Harry and Ms Markle are pronounced "man and wife" she will automatically become Her Royal Highness, Princess Henry of Wales. However, she does not automatically become Princess Meghan - because she is not of royal blood.Read More
