The trend of coming-of-age films has bought in a lot of attention up north, but southern filmmakers will definitely think twice before stepping into such quarters before they decide to make such films, due to the tolerance level of the audiences. Even A-rated films like Trisha Illana Nayanthara and Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu received a lot of hate from many in the industry, calling it a wrong depiction of lifestyle and moralities in general. Alagiya Asura (Anita Udeep) directorial 90ML seems to brave all the odds, coming up with a film that will openly discuss sensitive topics from a women’s point of view.
The trailer shows the lead character of Oviyaa and her friends speaking about sex, drinking, smoking and partying away to glory. The film seems to have no barriers when it comes to depicting these visuals, as even the jokes seem to be hugely A-rated with double entendres. STR, who has composed music for the film, is also spotted in a special cameo here.
While a section of the audiences has totally dug the trailer, calling it an open show of what is actually happening with high-class girls, it has also received a lot of hate already with people talking about how it could spoil the mindsets of the audiences. All in all, it looks a no-holds-barred adult comedy fest is on the way this summer.Read More
