With the huge furore surrounding the Arjun Reddy Tamil remake, Varmaa (Dhruv Vikram’s debut film), after the producers E4 Entertainment decided to scrap the film following creative differences with director Bala, and starting afresh with Dhruv and a different director, Bala has responded with an explanation from his side. He states that he voluntarily agreed to relieve himself from the film with an agreement with E4E on January 22nd and that he doesn’t want to blow this issue further considering young Dhruv’s future.
Here attached are the contents of the agreement which makes it clear that the producer and director couldn’t meet on common ground regarding the film’s content. The gap between the producer’s expectation and the final output from the director is pretty big. This agreement between Bala’s B Studios and Mukesh R Mehta’s E4 Entertainment was made in the presence of Vikram, who must have gone through a torrid time seeing such unpleasant occurrences in his son’s debut film.
