It is no new news that India is the country that produces the maximum number of films in a year. Take for example the Tamil Film Industry, it has already released 25 films in the first 45 days of the year. And now, the Tamil film goers are set to see another 25 films releasing before the end of March itself! Thus we will almost have 50 films in just three months. If we take into account Malayalam and Telugu films too, it will become a huge number.
Normally, the peak period of April, May and June are considered the best months to release films, especially the ones starring big stars. March is avoided due to school exams thus mostly small scale and more content driven films rather than star-driven films, are released in this month. This year will also be no different. The first weekend of March promises to be an important one, as we are all set to see Arun Vijay's Thadam that has got good expectations.
