With close to six films in his bag, Prabhu Deva is now one of the busiest actors in Kollywood. After suffering a flop with his last outing Charlie Chaplin 2, the actor will be looking to regain some attention with his upcoming outings such as Yung Mung Sung, Ponmanickavel, Devi 2, Thael and the untitled film with Adhik Ravichander.
The latest update is that Prabhu Deva will soon be flying to China to shoot for an important action sequence for Yung Mung Sung. After filming the majority of the film across different parts of South India such as Kumbakonam, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, the team will be looking to wrap up the shoot with the Chinese schedule. The premise of the film is set in the 1980s, with a lot of attention to Kung Fu and other martial art techniques. Produced by Vasan’s Visual Ventures, it has cinematography by RB Gurudev.
Amrish, who gave in a big chartbuster with his Chinna Machan for Charlie Chaplin 2, composes the music for this film too. After penning the song Ivala Ivala in that album, Prabhu Deva returns as a lyricist for a peppy dance number in Yung Mung Sung as well. The MS Arjun directorial which stars Lakshmi Menon as the heroine will hit the screens in the third quarter of the year.
