Last seen in the blockbuster 2017 hit PSV Garuda Vega, veteran star Dr Rajasekar was recently reported to have been working on his next project Kalki! However, we have just received reports that he has revived his long-shelved project Arjuna and got the Censor certification for this movie. Produced by CK Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. and Happy Movies, Arjuna is a political drama starring Dr Rajasekar in dual roles. This movie has got a U/A certification and is all set to hit screens on March 15th.
Talking about this, an industry insider said, "Seeing as the national Parliamentary elections are nearing, Arjuna's makers have decided to release the movie now to cash in on the popularity." Dr Rajasekar will be seen as a middle-aged officer. Directed by Kanmani, Arjuna will have Vandemataram Srinivas's music and Madhu Naidu's cinematography. Sakshi Gulati and Maryam Zackariya have been roped in play to the female leads.
Meanwhile, Dr Rajasekar himself will be contesting in an election. However, this is not any political election. Rajasekar will be taking on Srikanth for the post of Executive Vice President, of the Telugu Movie Artistes' association - MAA. Dr Rajasekar's wife Jeevitha will be contesting in these elections, to be held on March 10th, for the post of General Secretary. Kalki, directed by Prashanth Varma will have Dr Rajasekar's PSV Garuda Vega co-star Charan Surineni playing the role of the antagonist. Stay tuned for further updates!
