Amala Paul is a busy bee in the Indian film industry, with a variety of films in her kitty. Even before the release of her next Tamil film Adho Andha Paravai Pola, she has signed another film, which would be directed by Rathna Kumar of Meyaadha Maan fame. The actress has already completed the photoshoot for the film’s first look poster, which will be unveiled soon.
Speaking exclusively to In.com, she said “Aadai is the title of my next to be directed by Rathna. It’s a kickass story that I loved on the first listen itself. Right from the start, I told my director that I would only do this project if we were going to work as a team, and not simply play roles of just an actor, director and so on. We wanted to exchange ideas and bring out the best product possible. The first look poster will be a mind-blowing one, it is something that nobody has dared to do before this.”
The actress is now wrapping up the final leg of Adho Andha Paravai Pola, after which she will move on to Aadujeevitham, her Malayalam biggie where she is paired up with Prithviraj. Directed by Blessy, the film showcases the real life story of an Indian immigrant who is held in bonded labor in Saudi Arabia. AR Rahman composes the music for the film.
