Actor Arulnithi is quite known for his wise selection of scripts, showing variation from one film to another with each project showing increasingly good promise. The young star who made his debut through Pandiraj's Vamsam, went on to do films like Mounaguru, Demonte Colony, Iravukku Aayiram Kangal, etc. His upcoming films include K-13, an intense thriller directed by debutant Barath Neelakantan and Pugazhendhi Enum Naan, a political satire with director Karu Palaniappan. Meanwhile, we have an interesting update on his next film.
If reports are to be believed, Arulnithi will be joining hands with director Ganesh Vinayak for an action entertainer. The duo had already worked together in the 2013 rural action drama, Thagararu. Sources close to the director have revealed, "Ganesh has completed the script work and Arulnithi has also given his nod. Since both of them know each other quite well, the process was comfortable and easy. The dates and shooting plans are yet to be finalised. An official word will also be out soon."
Ganesh Vinayak has not been an impressive director in K-town so far and his last directorial Veera Sivaji was a bomb at the box office. The film had a bad reception and didn't go well with the audience. The artificial performances and boring screenplay were said to be the main reasons for the failure of this film. Ganesh recently made a coming of age web series titled D7, which released in the first week of February, on Zee 5. This romantic thriller had newcomers Sachin, Iswarya and Meenakshi in the lead roles. However, the audience's reception for D7, is yet to be known. Stay tuned for further updates on Arulnithi's new project... Read More
