One of the most anticipated films of this year would easily be Thalapathy 63, starring Vijay and Nayanthara, in Atlee's direction. The shooting of the film is progressing at a brisk pace as the makers are targetting a 2019 Diwali release.
Updates from our sources (and from the shooting spot) is a constant that comes in at regular intervals. A new picture from the shooting spot of Thalapathy 63 is going viral on social media, which says that the opening song's shoot has been completed. The picture has been uploaded by one of the crew members from the shooting spot and the picture features junior artists and few co-dancers.
The shoot started a few days ago at the Binny Mills set and it looks the team is done with the first song of the film. We had earlier reported that Bamba Bakya of 'Simtaangaran' and 'Pullinangal' fame is the man behind the vocals of this dance number. It is touted to be thara local folk number, though we'd get a glimpse of it only close to the film's release.
With lyrics penned by Vivek and music by A.R.Rahman (and going by the rumours on social media), we can expect an energetic number on the lines of 'Mersal Arasan'. The shooting at Binny Mills is expected to continue for the next few weeks.
