How many times have we heard that Indian cinema has no good sci-fi movies? Bollywood is certainly trying to change that and has given some awesome sci-fis. Guess what? This theme is gaining market in India with every passing year. Not just Bollywood, other regional cinemas are also catching up to incorporate this awesomeness in their works. Which is super amazing cuz science fiction is a unique and ultra-modern thematic concept which will for sure gain viewers in no time.
In line with this trend, our very own Tollywood, i.e., Telugu cinema is all set to give its first sci-fi movie. Yep, we are talking about Antariksham 9000 KMPH which will be released on the 21st of December 2018. This much-awaited film is a Telugu language sci-fi space thriller written and directed by Sankalp Reddy. Cool, isn’t it? The super-fab first look of the film was released on the 15 of August 2018. The film stars Varun Tej, Aditi Rao Hydari and Lavanya Tripathi. We already smell success!
As if the movie wasn’t mind-blowing already, a hell lot of scenes were shot in some a-uh-mazing zero gravity sets in beautiful Bulgaria. Similar zero gravity sets were made in Hyderabad. To top it all, because the flick is based in the Indian Space Research Organisation, a lot of shooting was done in Mahindra Ecole Centrale, Hyderabad.

Well, for starters, more focus should’ve been the movie’s story. Good news: The movie will not suffer much in spite of that. Because it already will be depressing (sorry!). The movie may face some trouble with profits and other financial matters.
Astro says that the opening for the film is gonna suck. The box-office collection may not be as expected. The cash collected during this phase will be very little. And, later, it may stop earning anything at all (ouch!).
Now that we know that the financial collection is awful, we can also imagine how hurt the cast and crew of the flick will be. Negativity, stress, and depression might grip them. And, as hard as it is, they will need to come out of this low sooner rather than later.
But, hold on! All is not bleak for the movie. The superb action creativity may increase the prospects of this movie. It may attract a ton of adolescents and youngsters. This will be the movie’s strength.
According to Astrology, the release time of this movie is in accordance with benefic planetary influence. Basically, the timing of the release is dope as hell and is the only astro thing supporting the future of the flick.
Those who will actually watch the movie will be all praises for Antariksham 9000 KMPH. Well, saved at some level, rite? The movie will definitely be admired by a few but not by the majority.
BTW cheers to the fact that it is the first sci-fi in Telugu. Obviously, its bound to initiate a new thought process among a hell lot of people across Andhra Pradesh and the world. Duh!
In spite of the fantabulous creativity, on the whole, the movie cannot be a blockbuster. It will fail to make a mark on the audience at large. Youngsters, sure, but others won’t enjoy it as much (sad face!).
