TV reality shows help some actors big time. The reach that the shows give the artists is phenomenal and something which they cannot expect even from their films. One such actor who has immensely benefited from a TV show is Arav, who participated in the Bigg Boss season 1 in Tamil and emerged as the winner. Before the TV show, he was a struggling actor, who was trying to make it big in the film industry. After Bigg Boss, the actor bagged two films, Raja Bheema and Market Raja MBBS. We bring you some updates on the progress of these two films and Arav’s plans after these films.
Our sources close to the actor update us on the details of the progress of these two films. They said, “The shooting of Raja Bheema is completed and the unit is currently busy with its post-production work. Apparently, they are very happy with the output. And in regards to Market Raja MBBS, the unit is simultaneously conducting the dubbing sessions but there are a few action sequences which are left to be shot.” Raja Bheema is directed by Naresh Sampath where Arav’s pair is Kolaigaran fame Ashima Narwal. This film is said to track the relationship between a man and an elephant.
Market Raja MBBS, on the other hand, is directed by Saran and the film has an ensemble cast list of Radikaa Sarathkumar, Rohini, Nasser, Hareesh Peradi, Yogi Babu and Ramdoss Munishkanth. Kavya Thapar, who was seen in the Telugu film Ee Maaya Peremito, is making her Tamil debut as a heroine with Market Raja MBBS. Saran, who is always known to have Bharadwaj as his music composer has roped in Simon K King of Sathya and Kolaigaran fame, for this film. Market Raja MBBS also marks the filmmaker’s first collaboration with KV Guhan, who is handling the cinematography.
