During the release of Baahubali 2, SS Rajamouli was faced with innumerable questions like, What is your next film sir? What genre would it be in? Who would be playing the lead? and quite a few others. Although the soft and sorted director did not give a firm answer then, eventually he started work on his next film titled as RRR, which began with a photo session in November last year, in Hyderabad. The film is said to be made on a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore and is being produced by the acclaimed DVV Danayya.
RRR, although nobody knows what it stands for, features Jr NTR and Ram Charan Teja. This is the first time the duo is working together. The film began shooting and in the first schedule itself an intense action block was canned by cinematographer KK Senthilkumar who was the DoP for Baahubali 2 too. Right now, the second schedule is going on in Hyderabad and it has the presence of Ram Charan, while Junior NTR is vacationing in Dubai.
While enquiring about Jr NTR's shoot schedule, a source close to the RRR unit said, "Tarak is expected to join the unit from tomorrow (February 22nd) and we will be shooting some important scenes with him." From the photos that have been leaked from the sets, it appears that the premise of the film could be that of pre-independence times. Another interesting aspect about the film is that the unit is yet to reveal the female cast members of the film. The story is written by SS Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad while the direction and screenplay department are being handled by Rajamouli himself. Just like in Rajamouli's earlier films, MM Keeravani will be scoring the music for RRR too.
