Ahead of the release of LKG on Feb 22nd, RJ Balaji is on a whirlwind promotional tour packed with appearances at college events, sports events and many interviews to popular media personalities. He is setting a good example on how to take a product to the masses and create the maximum possible awareness about it. As said by many cinema personnel, marketing and releasing a film is a way more tougher task now-a-days then making a film. Balaji seems to be aware of this, all too well.
In one of his recent interviews, Balaji said that STR was the first to call and wish him when news of LKG was first made public. The star had apparently also expressed his interest and wish to play a small role in Balaji’s maiden film as a hero but an appropriate role couldn’t be slotted for him. “Whatever people say about STR, he has always been good to me and we share a good equation," added Balaji. The two haven’t shared the screen space yet though.
LKG will open with 5 am early morning shows on Friday and is expected to open way better than Kanne Kalaimaane, the other new release this coming weekend.
