Hip Hop Tamizha Adhi has already begun shooting for his third film as an actor, while awaiting the release of his second movie Natpe Thunai. He had revealed earlier that this new movie would be a black comedy and it would mark Adhi's third film after the blockbuster Meesaya Murukku in 2017 and his yet-to-be-released Natpe Thunai. Now, we have an interesting update about this project. According to our sources, the film will be directed by newcomer Raana and the shoot is already underway in Chennai.
Our source reveals, “Adhi’s third acting venture is being helmed by Raana, who is an associate of director Shankar and has earlier worked in 2.0. He is quite well known in the short-film circles and this project will be his debut in feature films. The shooting started towards the end of last year, around December. Shooting is happening in and around Chennai. Iswarya Menon is playing the female lead.” Iswarya was recently seen in the spoof film - Tamizh Padam 2, starring Mirchi Shiva in the lead and directed by C S Amudhan. The details on the rest of the cast and crew have been kept under wraps, though it is quite well known that the Adhi-Jeeva duo will score the music.
Adhi is also working on the script for his second directorial feature, which is to go on floors in 2020. His second film Natpe Thunai, a sports-oriented film, which will be having a good mix of romance, action, friendship, and comedy. Adhi plays the role of a hockey player in this movie.
