TFPC president Vishal and his team are continuously working round the clock for the proper execution of the grand Ilaiyaraaja 75 event which is set to take place on the 2nd and the 3rd of February. However, all is not smooth in their path with producer JSK Satish filing a petition alleging the mishaps in the council since the time Vishal took over as president, and also the rigging in the funds being allotted for the show.
Satish and his mate Radhakrishnan had criticized many activities of the TPFC, saying that they had spent money for the event without any consent from the general body. The duo even asked for the court’s intervention for the council’s elections and meetings. Hearing all these complaints, the court released an order to the TFPC, asking them for the complete details and a report on the amount of money spent on the concert. The HC also questioned the TFPC on why they cannot postpone the concert as a lot of issues are cropping up at this point. The TFPC replied that all the arrangements for the concert have already been put in place, and postponing it at this point will cause a lot of confusion and loss.
In other news, Ilaiyaraaja’s trademark team from the Symphony Orchestra have come down to Chennai in order to practice for and perform at the event.
