Actor-Director-Singer Parmish Verma has been very busy with his upcoming projects. The man has just finished the shooting of his upcoming romantic movie Dil Diyaan Gallan in which he is the lead actor and also the director. Now he is busy shooting for his much anticipated 2019 release, Singham remake in Punjabi. Amidst all this we wondered where one of his projects vanished! He has been announcing movies, releasing single tracks and working like an unstoppable machine but Parmish once shared the poster of his upcoming movie Zahoor and by the look of it, we could make out that it is a warrior based movie. Even the tagline said “An untold story of five rivers”.
The 18th century period drama is directed and penned by Sharan Singh, the same man who is now directing Rabb Da Radio 2. The movie is based on true events that have been significant in Sikh history. The dialogues are given by Uday Pratap and the film would release under the banner of Fateh Films and Azad Parindey.
Though the makers shared that the movie would release in 2019 but the shoot of the movie which had to start by November 2018, is nowhere to be seen. The shoot had to happen overseas. Actor Manav Vij and Jagjit Sandhu were a part of the leading star cast too but seeing the busy schedule of most of the members like Parmish and Sharan, Jagjit and Manav, we think that this project is now delayed. Where Parmish is busy with Singham, Sharan is busy directing Rabb Da Radio 2 and Jagjit Sandhu has signed two films as lead actor and is currently shooting for his upcoming Netflix series, and Manav is doing projects in Bollywood.
But we are waiting for more updates on this project because from its very first look it seemed to be novel and interesting.
