Director Midhun Manuel Thomas's upcoming movie Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu had originally been slated for release on March 1st. However, the release date of this movie has now been pushed. This movie, starring Kalidas Jayaram and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead, is said to span over the time frame of three football World Cups. Based on Ashokan Charuvil's short story of the same name, Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu has screenplay written by Midhun and John Manthrickal.
Jayaram plays a character named Vipinan and Aishwarya's character is called Mehrunissa Kadharkutty. These two are childhood best friends from a village, who share a passion for football. The movie shows how their relationship blossoms over a period of time and their attachment to the game. We now have news that the release of Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu has been postponed to March 22nd. Announcing this news through a poster, the director Midhun Manuel Thomas revealed that the postponement is keeping in mind the upcoming school exams for the students.
