Actor Nikhil is one man who quickly rose to fame in the Telugu industry by doing films that resonated well with the audiences. However, his last two outings in Keshava and Kirik Party flopped at the box office, resulting in him going back to the drawing board with a Tamil remake. Nikhil is now looking forward to Arjun Suravaram, an official remake of the Tamil hit Kanithan. The film has been directed by TN Santhosh, the same director who helmed the original version which had Atharvaa in the lead.
The latest tidbit from the camp is that Santhosh is not happy with the final edit of the film, made by editor Naveen. Hence, the director has asked the producers to rope in Bhuvan Srinivasan to rework on the film’s edit. Bhuvan had worked on the original, and therefore, there is a good rapport between the two.
As a result, the producers have started the process to bring in the new editor and get the film ready in time for a release by the final week of March. Lavanya Tripathi plays the female lead in this action thriller where an aspiring investigative journalist slides through an interesting case of a criminal gang forging diploma certificates.
