Though Enai Noki Paayum Thota (ENPT) is the first Tamil film that she signed on for, Megha Akash had Petta as her first Tamil release a couple of weeks back. She is already very popular among youngsters due to the impact created by ENPT’s songs. Megha is now gearing up for the back to back releases of her films in February - Vantha Rajavadhan Varuven (VRV) and Boomerang. ENPT is nowhere near its release date, unfortunately. In a recent interaction with a leading online portal, Megha went down memory lane on her Petta experience with superstar Rajinikanth.
“Every moment when Rajini sir was on set, I just couldn’t believe it. Karthik Subbaraj sir and Simran mam were also completely star-struck by him, just like me. We were all ‘Rajinified’ daily. For a scene in which I was required to hug Rajini sir, I just couldn’t do it that easily, as I see Rajini sir as a phenomenon and not a normal person. One of my big goals in life was to just stand with Rajini sir and click a picture of him!”
Megha added that ENPT gave her the most intense role of her career yet. She also had good words to say about her VRV co-star STR calling him a very fun, chilled out person and an extremely talented and supportive actor-dancer.
