After completing his portions for KV Anand’s Tamil thriller Kaappaan which also stars Suriya and Arya, Mohanlal has returned to his homeland in order to shoot for his interesting set of films that he has signed up for 2019. The actor is currently busy shooting the action sequences for his mammoth period spectacle Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, helmed by ace director Priyadarshan. He is expected to get done with his portions by the end of March, post which he will take a short break before starting work on his comedy entertainer Ittymaani Made in China.
Directed by Jibi and Joju, the film will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvaad Cinemas. The team plans to shoot a short portion of the film in China, which is supposedly the starting point of the storyline.
.Apart from these two films, Mohanlal also has his film with Siddique, titled Big Brother. This will be the third union of the director-actor combo, after Vietnam Colony and Ladies and Gentlemen. Big Brother will be an action comedy that will feature a huge supporting star cast, which is silently being firmed up by the director and his casting team.
With so many films in hand, Mohanlal would be working hard to entertain his fans and common audiences, making them forget the Odiyan debacle which came by last year. Release-wise, it would be his Lucifer hitting the screens first up followed by Kaappaan.
