Nagarjuna had an average outing with his last venture Devadas, co-starring Nani. For now, it is already known that Nagarjuna is busy with the sequel to his 2002 blockbuster Manmadhudu and the pre-production of the film is on in full swing. Rahul Ravindran has been roped in to direct this sequel. The first schedule is expected to commence in Portugal and reportedly Payal Rajput has been confirmed as one of the two leading ladies in the film. However, an official confirmation is still awaited. Now another interesting update has been floating around the industry circles!
Reports have revealed that RX 100 music composer Chaitan Bharadwaj has been brought on board by Nagarjuna for this film. Apparently, Nagarjuna was way too impressed with the soothing numbers and striking background score in RX 100 and he thought since his film is also a romantic entertainer, who better to be brought on board than the young composer. This romantic drama will see Nagarjuna return on-screen to play a romantic character after quite a while and rumours state that he was pretty skeptical about it, especially because his children are currently doing the same.
The veteran is also a part of actor Dhanush’s second directorial, which has reportedly been currently put on hold. He has also wrapped up his portions for his Bollywood comeback film, Brahmastra.
