Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming movie with director Atlee is progressing rapidly in and around Chennai. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 63, the film’s first schedule is underway in Chennai and we recently reported that the unit had just finished filming the intro song for Vijay at Binny Mills. This song is said to have had about 250 people on the sets, apart from the lead. The shooting is currently said to be happening at Prasad Labs with a newly constructed set resembling the iconic Napier Bridge. Now, we have some more exciting updates regarding this project!
Lady Superstar Nayanthara, who plays the female lead in this film, will join the sets next month. Our sources tell us, “Nayanthara is all set to start shooting for Thalapathy 63 after the second week of March and it will happen in Chennai.” AGS Entertainment is bankrolling this film, which has an ensemble cast of actors including Kathir, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Anandaraj and Daniel Balaji. As reported earlier, Thalapathy 63 is said to have Vijay as a football player and the character that he plays is called Michael. It is also said that he is a resident of North Chennai and that his house is one of the biggest in his area.
