Nandamuri Balakrishna's NTR Kathanayakudu released for the Sankranti weekend and fetched quite good reports and feedback from the audience and the critics. It was the biopic of the legendary actor NT Rama Rao, who was an icon in Andhra Pradesh, who also ventured into politics after his successful film career. He had a forever place in the hearts of people. Rama Rao served as the Chief Minister of the State for three times and made a strong impact as a political leader.
While NTR Kathanayakudu told the travel of Rama Rao as an actor, the sequel to it, NTR Mahanayakudu is all set to release on February 22. This second instalment will entirely focus on the political journey of NTR showcasing his ups and downs in his last few years of life. Krish, who helmed the first part directs this sequel as well. The makers had initially planned NTR biopic as a one part film, however, things got changed when they realised that his life story can't be told in just 150 and odd minutes. This resulted in the plan for sequels and now the audience is all set to witness it in just 6 days of time.
