2019 started off on a great note for superstar Rajinikanth, with the blockbuster success of Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Now, the actor has started prepping for his forthcoming project. As already known, Rajinikanth is joining hands with Sarkar director AR Murugadoss for his next project and the shooting of this untitled flick will commence sometime in March. Rumours were doing the rounds that Keerthy Suresh and Nayanthara would be playing the female leads in this yet to be titled film.
However, it looks like not all rumours come true. When we checked with our sources close to the team, they said, “No! Keerthy is not a part of the project and that part is false. However, Nayanthara is in the final rounds of discussion to play the female lead opposite Rajinikanth.” Nayanthara will be working with Rajinikanth for the fourth time after Chandramukhi, Kuselan and Sivaji (cameo). An official confirmation regarding the same is expected soon, from the makers of the film and if everything goes well, this mass action entertainer is expected to go on floors towards the end of March or the beginning of April.
Anirudh Ravichander, who scored music for Rajinikanth's recent outing Petta, will be composing for this movie as well. Ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan will handle the visuals, while Sreekar Prasad is said to edit the film.
