Oviya is gearing up for the release of 90 ML, directed by Anita Udeep, next Friday, March 1st; there may be early morning first day shows too due to the evident curiosity surrounding the film. 90 ML has been certified with an ‘A’ certificate and the trailer and other visuals have made it clear that it is an all-girls fun film. In a recent interaction with a leading online portal, Oviya admitted that 90 ML will be sort of a culture shock, as women indulging in drinking and smoking is something which is still considered taboo by the Indian society.
“If I hadn’t done this film, then I’m not sure if anyone else would’ve been bold enough and come forward to do the film. I’m someone who doesn’t care about what people think of me. A film should just be seen for what it is, and shouldn’t be confused with the lead actor’s real life image. For people who complain that I’m setting a bad example to my followers, I would say that I’m a socially responsible, law abiding person in real life, and people should follow those aspects of me”, said Oviya without mincing words.
90 ML has music by STR, and Oviya has also sung a few lines of the trending ‘Marana Matta’ song.
