The trailer for Oviyaa's upcoming film 90ML was released recently and what followed was a huge uproar among people on social media who slammed it for being unsuitable and crude. The film, directed by Alagiya Asura, is certified 'A' and appears to be about a group of women and their escapades.
Just like every other adult film in Tamil cinema, there are plenty of scenes where these women are seen drinking and uttering double meaning dialogues, with references to sexual matters. While a section of the audience has liked the trailer, it has also received a lot of hate already with people talking about how it could spoil the mindsets of the audiences.
Responding to these hatred comments, Oviyaa took to Twitter to tell people to not judge the movie simply by its trailer.
While the debate to whether these hate comments are sexist or not are still to be put to rest, but looks like Oviyaa really does not want any negativity for her film. Directed by Alagiya Asura, the trailer has clocked more than 4 million views on YouTube.Read More
