Director Omar Lulu's romantic drama, Oru Adaar Love, starring fresh faces Roshan Abdul, Priya Prakash Varrier and Noorin Shereef released on February 14, on the special occasion of Valentine's Day. Despite the high expectations and buzz surrounding the film, it opened up on a poor note at the box office and the audience shared their disappointment over the film's content and making. The film was bashed on the social media by the youngsters and the makers even tried changing the climax of the film, but still, that didn't help to a major extent. The reason behind all the expectations and buzz is, of course, the young girl, Priya Prakash Varrier who became an overnight sensation with her wink.
Noorin, who played one of the female leads, expressed her disappointment over the director and the makers for cutting down the importance of her character and extending screen space for Priya. Noorin also added that she wouldn't work with Priya Prakash anymore and told her not to get carried away with all the fame as nothing is certain and assured in cinema. In one of her recent interviews, Noorin Shereef was quoted as saying, "I was actually very happy when Omar Lulu selected me as the heroine in the movie. But as Priya Prakash Varrier's wink went viral, makers changed the entire storyline of the movie and my character was a bit sidelined. I felt very disappointed when my character lost its importance as this was my first offer to act in the lead role.” When she was asked if she would work again with Priya Prakash Varrier, the curly hair beauty said, "No comments."
However, this backlash is only against the film and Priya Prakash Varrier, but not Noorin as she has been receiving so much love and support from the audience. Looks like her beautiful smile and neat performance has impressed the youngsters.
